Best Kha'Zix Build & Guide (2026) — League of Legends
The definitive Kha'Zix build guide for 2026. Optimal items, runes, ability order, playstyle tips, and matchup advice backed by data from thousands of ranked League of Legends matches.
Kha'Zix is League of Legends' Voidreaver — a predatory assassin who stalks the jungle and eliminates isolated targets with devastating burst damage. Kha'Zix's identity revolves around the isolation mechanic on his Taste Their Fear, which deals massively amplified damage to enemies who have no allied units nearby, rewarding patient hunters who catch opponents away from their team. What makes Kha'Zix unique among assassins is his evolution system — each rank of Void Assault grants an evolution point that permanently upgrades one of his basic abilities, allowing Kha'Zix to adapt his kit to the game state and become increasingly dangerous as the match progresses. Kha'Zix's passive Unseen Threat grants bonus damage and a slow on his next auto-attack whenever he exits enemy vision, meaning he is rewarded for weaving in and out of brush and fog of war during fights. Whether you're a jungle main looking for an assassin who can carry games through picks and skirmishes, or a player who enjoys the fantasy of an evolving predator who grows stronger with every kill, this guide covers everything you need to dominate with Kha'Zix in 2026.
Kha'Zix Overview
Kha'Zix operates as an assassin jungler and isolation specialist whose damage output is defined by whether his target is isolated. Taste Their Fear deals moderate damage to targets near their allies, but when a target has no allied champions, minions, or jungle monsters nearby, the ability's damage is dramatically increased — often doubling or tripling the base damage with items. This isolation mechanic means Kha'Zix excels at catching enemies who rotate alone, invading enemy junglers at their camps, and cleaning up teamfights where enemies scatter. Every decision Kha'Zix makes revolves around finding or creating isolation — flanking to catch a carry away from their team, waiting for the fight to spread out before engaging, or invading the enemy jungle to duel the opposing jungler at their camp where they are guaranteed to be isolated.
Taste Their Fear (Q) is Kha'Zix's primary damage ability. Kha'Zix slashes the target enemy, dealing physical damage that is massively increased if the target is isolated — meaning no allied units are within a radius around them. Taste Their Fear has a very short cooldown, allowing Kha'Zix to slash multiple times during an extended fight, and its isolation bonus makes it one of the highest single-target damage abilities in the game when the condition is met. Evolved Taste Their Fear increases Q's range and refunds a large portion of its cooldown when hitting isolated targets, turning Kha'Zix into a relentless duelist who slashes isolated targets every second.
Void Spike (W) is Kha'Zix's ranged poke and sustain tool. Kha'Zix fires a cluster of spikes in a line that explode on contact with the first enemy hit, dealing physical damage in a small area. If Kha'Zix is standing within the explosion radius, he heals for a portion of his missing health, providing sustain during jungle clears and skirmishes. Void Spike is Kha'Zix's only ranged ability and his primary tool for proccing Unseen Threat from brush without committing to melee range. Evolved Void Spike fires three spikes in a cone instead of one, applies a significant slow to all enemies hit, and the heal triggers if Kha'Zix is within any of the explosions, dramatically increasing its utility for kiting, chasing, and teamfight disruption.
Leap (E) is Kha'Zix's gap-closer and the ability that enables his assassination pattern. Kha'Zix leaps to a target area, dealing physical damage to enemies in the landing zone. Leap has a long range that allows Kha'Zix to jump over walls, close distance to fleeing targets, and escape after securing a kill. Evolved Leap increases E's range substantially and causes it to reset its cooldown on champion kill or assist, transforming Kha'Zix into a teamfight reset champion who can chain multiple leaps across an entire enemy team as he secures kills — a fully evolved Leap reset chain where Kha'Zix bounces from target to target is one of the most spectacular plays in League of Legends.
Void Assault (R) is Kha'Zix's ultimate, which has both a passive and active component. Passively, each rank of Void Assault at levels 6, 11, and 16 grants an evolution point that Kha'Zix can spend to permanently upgrade one of his basic abilities, adapting his kit to the game's needs. Actively, Kha'Zix enters stealth for 1.25 seconds and gains a burst of movement speed, and the ability can be recast once within a window. The stealth re-procs Unseen Threat, meaning Kha'Zix can weave stealth between auto-attacks to repeatedly apply the passive's bonus damage and slow. Evolved Void Assault grants three stealth casts instead of two and increases the stealth duration, making Kha'Zix extremely difficult to pin down in extended fights as he repeatedly vanishes and reappears with Unseen Threat refreshed.
Strengths
- Kha'Zix has the highest single-target burst damage of any jungler against isolated targets because Taste Their Fear's isolation bonus combined with lethality items and Unseen Threat passive allows him to delete squishy champions in under a second, making him the most feared assassin in the game for any player caught alone on the map — An isolated carry hit by Leap into auto-attack (Unseen Threat) into Taste Their Fear into Void Spike often dies before they can react, and the speed of this combo means even players with Flash cannot escape if Kha'Zix has committed
- Kha'Zix's evolution system makes him uniquely adaptable among assassins because each game he can choose which three abilities to evolve based on the enemy team composition and game state, allowing him to specialize as a duelist (Q evolve), teamfight assassin (E evolve), skirmisher (W evolve), or elusive carry (R evolve) — No other champion in League of Legends can permanently modify their abilities during the game, and this flexibility means Kha'Zix is never locked into a single playstyle
- Evolved Leap's reset mechanic on kills and assists transforms Kha'Zix from a single-target assassin into a teamfight carry who can chain multiple leaps across the enemy team, and the extended leap range means Kha'Zix can reach backline carries from distances they believe are safe — A Kha'Zix who secures the first kill in a teamfight can immediately leap to the next target, then the next, creating a cascade of kills that snowballs the fight. This reset potential makes Kha'Zix one of the best cleanup champions in the game
- Kha'Zix is one of the strongest invading junglers in the game because enemy junglers are always isolated at their camps, meaning Taste Their Fear's isolation bonus is guaranteed in 1v1 jungle duels, and Unseen Threat procs from fog of war give Kha'Zix a burst damage advantage in surprise encounters — Kha'Zix can contest every crab, invade every buff, and duel at every camp with the confidence that his isolation damage will be active, making the enemy jungle a dangerous place for the opposing jungler to farm
Weaknesses
- Kha'Zix's damage drops dramatically against targets who are not isolated, and in grouped teamfights where enemies stand near each other, Taste Their Fear deals a fraction of its potential damage, reducing Kha'Zix to a mediocre bruiser without his defining burst — When the enemy team groups tightly, Kha'Zix cannot activate isolation on any target, and his total damage output in a 5v5 teamfight where no one is isolated is far lower than other assassins like Zed or Talon who have unconditional burst damage
- Kha'Zix is a squishy melee champion with no innate sustain outside of Void Spike heal, and once he leaps into the enemy team, he must either secure a kill for the E reset or die — there is no middle ground, and a failed assassination attempt almost always results in death — Unlike bruisers who can survive in melee range through lifesteal and resistances, Kha'Zix builds full lethality and has the durability of a ranged carry, meaning any crowd control that catches him during his combo is likely lethal
- Kha'Zix relies heavily on snowballing through early kills and invades, and if he falls behind in the early game, his lethality items lose effectiveness against enemies who gain levels and armor, creating a negative spiral where a behind Kha'Zix cannot kill isolated targets and therefore cannot catch up — A Kha'Zix who is 0/3 at 15 minutes has no path back into the game because his assassination pattern requires damage that only comes from gold and levels, and unlike scaling champions, Kha'Zix does not become stronger simply by farming
- Kha'Zix has no crowd control outside of Unseen Threat's slow, meaning he provides nothing to his team if he cannot kill his target — no stuns, no knockups, no utility, just damage that either kills the target or contributes nothing meaningful to the fight — When Kha'Zix's damage is insufficient to kill his target, he has no way to set up kills for teammates or peel for his carries, making him a liability in games where he cannot one-shot priority targets
Recommended Runes
Primary — Electrocute (Domination)
- Electrocute — Deals bonus adaptive damage when Kha'Zix hits an enemy champion with three separate attacks or abilities within 3 seconds. Electrocute is Kha'Zix's optimal keystone because his standard assassination combo of Leap into auto-attack into Taste Their Fear into Void Spike naturally procs Electrocute as part of the burst, adding a significant chunk of bonus damage that often makes the difference between killing the target and leaving them alive at low health. Electrocute's burst damage synergizes perfectly with Kha'Zix's all-in assassination pattern — he does not need sustained damage keystones because his targets should be dead within the 3-second proc window.
- Treasure Hunter — Grants bonus gold on unique champion takedowns. Treasure Hunter accelerates Kha'Zix's item spikes because assassin itemization is gold-dependent and every component matters. The bonus gold from early kills and assists helps Kha'Zix complete his first lethality item faster, snowballing his damage advantage into more kills and more gold. Kha'Zix naturally ganks all three lanes and invades the enemy jungle, giving him opportunities to collect all five unique takedown bounties.
- Eyeball Collection — Grants permanent adaptive force for each unique champion takedown, stacking up to a significant bonus at full stacks. Eyeball Collection provides scaling attack damage that amplifies Kha'Zix's burst as the game progresses. Each kill or assist permanently increases Taste Their Fear's isolation damage, Void Spike's damage, and Leap's landing damage, meaning a snowballing Kha'Zix becomes progressively more lethal with every successful gank.
- Sudden Impact — Grants lethality and magic penetration for a short duration after dashing or exiting stealth. Sudden Impact is tailor-made for Kha'Zix because both Leap and Void Assault trigger the bonus lethality. Every time Kha'Zix leaps onto a target or exits stealth during Void Assault, he gains bonus lethality that amplifies his entire burst combo. Since Kha'Zix's assassination pattern always begins with either a Leap or a stealth approach, Sudden Impact is active for every kill attempt.
Secondary — Sorcery
- Absolute Focus — Grants bonus adaptive force while above 70% health. Absolute Focus amplifies Kha'Zix's burst damage on his initial engage when he is at full health. Since Kha'Zix initiates fights from stealth or fog of war at full health, the bonus AD is active for his opening burst combo — the moment when maximum damage matters most. The AD bonus increases Taste Their Fear's isolation damage during the critical first seconds of the assassination.
- Waterwalking — Grants bonus movement speed and adaptive force while in the river. Waterwalking is powerful for Kha'Zix because the river is where early-game skirmishes over scuttle crab, dragon, and Rift Herald take place. The bonus movement speed helps Kha'Zix reach contested objectives faster and the bonus AD increases his dueling damage in river fights. Kha'Zix frequently traverses the river when roaming between lanes for ganks, meaning Waterwalking provides consistent value throughout the early and mid game.
Recommended Item Build
Based on data from over 15,000 ranked Kha'Zix matches tracked on dodge.gg, here's the highest winrate build path.
Early Game (0–10 min)
- Gustwalker Hatchling — Kha'Zix's optimal jungle pet that evolves into Gustwalker, granting bonus movement speed when entering brush. Gustwalker is the ideal pet for Kha'Zix because the brush movement speed synergizes with his Unseen Threat passive — Kha'Zix constantly weaves in and out of brush during ganks and skirmishes to re-proc Unseen Threat, and the bonus movement speed from Gustwalker makes this pattern faster and more fluid. The movement speed also helps Kha'Zix traverse the jungle efficiently between camps and gank paths.
- Health Potion — Restores health over time when consumed. Two Health Potions provide Kha'Zix with sustain through his first jungle clear, allowing him to path to a gank or an invade with enough health to fight. Kha'Zix's first clear is moderately healthy thanks to Void Spike's heal, but the potions ensure he is near full health when he makes his first play on the map.
Core Build (10–20 min)
- Hubris — Grants attack damage, lethality, and ability haste, with a passive that grants a large amount of attack damage for a duration after scoring a champion takedown. Hubris is Kha'Zix's premier first item because the snowball passive rewards his assassination playstyle — every kill grants a massive temporary AD boost that makes the next kill even easier to secure. The lethality amplifies Taste Their Fear's isolation damage against squishy targets, and the ability haste reduces cooldowns so Kha'Zix can rotate between camps and ganks more frequently. When Kha'Zix secures a kill with Hubris and immediately invades or ganks with the bonus AD active, his burst damage becomes nearly impossible for squishy champions to survive.
- Boots of Mobility — Grants high movement speed out of combat. Boots of Mobility are optimal for Kha'Zix because his primary role is roaming the map to find isolated targets, and the out-of-combat movement speed lets him traverse between lanes, jungle camps, and invade paths faster than any other boot option. The speed advantage helps Kha'Zix arrive at ganks before the enemy can react and allows him to cover the map efficiently during the mid game when picks and rotations decide the game.
- Opportunity — Grants attack damage and lethality, with a passive that grants bonus movement speed when moving toward enemy champions and bonus damage on the first hit against enemy champions when approaching from outside their vision. Opportunity synergizes perfectly with Kha'Zix's assassination pattern — he approaches from fog of war or stealth, gaining bonus movement speed to close the distance, and his first hit deals bonus damage on top of Unseen Threat's passive damage. The stacked lethality from Hubris and Opportunity pushes Kha'Zix's armor penetration to a level where squishy champions' armor is nearly negated, resulting in devastating burst combos.
Late Game (25+ min)
- Edge of Night — Grants attack damage, lethality, and health, with a passive spell shield that blocks the first enemy ability after being out of combat. Edge of Night is critical for Kha'Zix because the spell shield protects his engage from the single ability that would otherwise interrupt his assassination — a Lux binding, a Thresh hook, or a Morgana snare that would root Kha'Zix before he reaches his target. The spell shield allows Kha'Zix to leap into the enemy team with confidence that the first reactive crowd control ability will be absorbed, giving him time to complete his burst combo. The health provides durability that extends his survivability after Leap resets.
- Serylda's Grudge — Grants attack damage, ability haste, and armor penetration, with a passive that applies a slow to enemies hit by abilities. Serylda's Grudge is Kha'Zix's answer to enemies who stack armor to survive his lethality burst. The percentage armor penetration cuts through the armor that lethality alone cannot handle, ensuring Taste Their Fear's isolation damage remains lethal even against bruisers and tanks who build defensive items. The slow on abilities helps Kha'Zix stick to targets who attempt to kite or escape after surviving the initial burst.
- Guardian Angel — Grants attack damage and armor, with a passive that revives the champion on death. Guardian Angel provides Kha'Zix with insurance for aggressive engages — if Kha'Zix leaps into the enemy team, secures a kill, but dies before the E reset allows him to escape, Guardian Angel revives him and gives him a second chance to clean up or escape. The armor is valuable against AD-heavy team compositions, and the revive passive is psychologically powerful — enemies must commit resources to kill Kha'Zix twice, and by the time he revives, his cooldowns have partially reset.
Ability Priority
- Taste Their Fear (Q) — Max first. Each rank increases Q's base damage and isolation bonus damage, making Kha'Zix's primary assassination tool more lethal with every point. Q max first is non-negotiable because Taste Their Fear is the ability Kha'Zix uses most frequently — its short cooldown means he casts it multiple times per fight, and the damage increase per rank applies to both the base and isolation bonus, meaning the power spike per skill point is enormous. Higher Q ranks also improve jungle clear speed because Taste Their Fear is used on every camp.
- Void Spike (W) — Max second. Each rank increases W's damage and healing amount, improving both Kha'Zix's poke damage and his jungle sustain. W max second provides the best balance of combat utility and clear speed — the increased healing keeps Kha'Zix healthier during jungle rotations, and the higher damage makes Void Spike a meaningful part of his burst combo rather than just a utility ability. In skirmishes, a max-rank Void Spike deals respectable damage and heals for a significant amount when Kha'Zix stands within the explosion.
- Leap (E) — Max last. E provides the same mobility at all ranks, with additional ranks only reducing the cooldown and marginally increasing the landing damage. Leap is fully functional at rank 1 for ganks and assassinations — the gap-close range and reset mechanic work identically regardless of rank. The cooldown reduction from additional ranks is less valuable than Q and W's damage increases because Leap resets on kills regardless of its base cooldown.
- Void Assault (R) — Level when available at 6, 11, and 16. Each rank of R grants an evolution point, which is Kha'Zix's most impactful power spike. Level 6 is transformative because Kha'Zix gains both the active stealth and his first evolution — typically Q evolve for massively increased isolation damage and range. Level 11 grants the second evolution — typically E evolve for leap resets. Level 16 grants the third evolution, completing Kha'Zix's build with either W or R evolve depending on the game state.
Evolution Priority
The standard evolution order for most games is Q at level 6, E at level 11, W at level 16. Evolved Q increases Taste Their Fear's range and refunds cooldown on isolated targets, making Kha'Zix's primary damage ability dramatically more powerful in duels and picks. Evolved E increases Leap's range and grants the critical kill/assist reset, enabling Kha'Zix to chain leaps in teamfights. Evolved W fires three spikes in a cone and applies a slow, providing utility and poke in the late game when teamfights are more common. Evolved R is a situational alternative to W evolve, granting a third stealth cast and longer stealth duration for games where Kha'Zix needs maximum elusiveness against teams with strong targeted abilities.
Playstyle Tips
Early Game / Jungle Clear
Kha'Zix's early game is about clearing the jungle efficiently, securing early kills through ganks and invades where targets are isolated, and snowballing a gold lead into his first lethality item before the enemy team can group and deny isolation.
Start Q at level 1 for the fastest camp clear. Kha'Zix's first clear typically follows a path of three camps into a gank or scuttle crab contest — Red Brambleback to Raptors to Krugs on red side, or Blue Sentinel to Gromp to Wolves on blue side. Use Void Spike at each camp and stand inside the explosion to heal. After three camps, look for a gank opportunity on the nearest lane — Kha'Zix's level 3 with Q, W, and E gives him a lethal gank combo of Leap onto the target, auto-attack with Unseen Threat slow, Taste Their Fear, and Void Spike as they flee.
Invading the enemy jungler is one of Kha'Zix's greatest strengths. When you see the enemy jungler on the opposite side of the map through a ward or a gank attempt, cross into their jungle and take their camps. If you encounter the enemy jungler at a camp, fight them — they are isolated next to their monster and Taste Their Fear's bonus damage is guaranteed. Most junglers cannot duel Kha'Zix in their own jungle because isolation damage tilts the fight massively in his favor.
Track enemy isolation constantly. Before ganking a lane, check if the target is alone or near their minion wave — ganking a target standing in their minion wave negates isolation and reduces your kill pressure dramatically. The best ganks are on targets who push forward past their minion wave or who rotate through the river alone.
Mid Game
Mid-game Kha'Zix with evolved Q and his first two lethality items is an assassination machine who should roam the map looking for isolated picks, control vision in the enemy jungle to catch rotations, and use evolved Leap resets after level 11 to dominate teamfights.
After completing your first item and evolving Q at level 6, your kill pressure on isolated targets increases dramatically. Roam to the lane with the squishiest, most isolated target and repeat your gank pattern. Place control wards in the enemy jungle at key intersections to spot the enemy jungler or roaming mid laner alone — these isolated picks snowball the game harder than any other play Kha'Zix can make.
At level 11 with evolved Leap, your teamfight potential transforms. You no longer need to avoid teamfights — instead, wait on the flank or in fog of war for the fight to begin, then leap onto an isolated backline carry, burst them down, and reset Leap to jump to the next target. The key discipline is patience — do not leap into the fight first. Wait for abilities to be used, for the fight to spread out, and for a target to become isolated from their team, then commit with your full combo.
Control dragon and Rift Herald by clearing vision around the objective before starting it. Kha'Zix's single-target damage makes him a fast objective taker, and the isolated jungle environment around dragon and Baron pits is favorable for fighting — enemies who walk into the pit to contest are isolated from their team and vulnerable to Taste Their Fear's bonus damage.
Late Game
Late-game Kha'Zix with a full lethality build and three evolutions is a teamfight assassin who must exercise extreme patience to find the right moment to engage, because one well-timed leap onto an isolated carry can cascade into a pentakill through E resets, but a mistimed engage into a grouped team results in instant death.
In late-game teamfights, your role is the patient assassin. Do not group with your team in the front — instead, position on a flank or in fog of war where the enemy team cannot see you. Wait for the teamfight to begin and for the initial burst of abilities and crowd control to be spent. Once the fight breaks apart and enemies scatter, identify the most isolated, highest-value target and commit your full combo: Leap onto them, auto-attack with Unseen Threat, Taste Their Fear, Void Spike, and if they survive, Void Assault into stealth for a second Unseen Threat auto-attack and another Q. If the target dies, Leap resets and you jump to the next target.
The late-game danger for Kha'Zix is that enemies build armor and defensive items that can survive his burst. Serylda's Grudge helps cut through armor, but a full-tank Leona or a Maw of Malmortius-carrying ADC may survive your initial rotation. Prioritize the targets you can kill — it is better to assassinate the enemy mid laner or support and reset Leap than to commit onto a bruiser who survives and fights back.
If the enemy team plays tightly grouped to deny isolation, do not force engages. Instead, use your mobility to split-push and draw one or two enemies to a side lane where you can fight them in isolation. Kha'Zix's split-push threat forces the enemy team to send someone to match him, and a 1v1 in a side lane is exactly the scenario where Kha'Zix thrives — guaranteed isolation, brush to proc Unseen Threat repeatedly, and no enemy teammates nearby to collapse.
Matchups
Favorable
- Kindred — Kindred is a ranged jungle marksman who is squishy and vulnerable in the early game. Kha'Zix's burst damage overwhelms Kindred's Dance of Arrows mobility because Leap closes the distance instantly and Taste Their Fear's isolation damage is lethal against Kindred's low health pool. Kindred's Lamb's Respite ultimate can delay the kill, but Kha'Zix can wait inside the zone and finish Kindred when the invulnerability ends. In jungle invades, Kindred cannot duel Kha'Zix because she lacks the burst damage to trade and her marks give away her pathing, letting Kha'Zix set up ambushes.
- Evelynn — Evelynn is a squishy AP assassin jungler who has a weak pre-6 clear and no escapes until she completes her ultimate. Kha'Zix can invade Evelynn's jungle early and fight her at camps where she is isolated and at low health from clearing. Kha'Zix's early dueling power with Taste Their Fear isolation damage far exceeds Evelynn's pre-6 damage, and his Leap gives him the gap-closer to reach Evelynn before she can charm him with Allure. After level 6, Evelynn's stealth does not protect her from Kha'Zix's invades because he can track her through jungle pathing.
- Karthus — Karthus is an immobile mage jungler who relies on farming to scale and has no mobility spells. Kha'Zix can invade Karthus at any camp and kill him with isolation damage before Karthus's sustained Lay Waste damage can trade effectively. Karthus is always isolated at jungle camps, making Taste Their Fear's bonus damage guaranteed. Kha'Zix's Leap and Void Assault stealth allow him to dodge Lay Waste damage and close the gap instantly, and Karthus has no escape tool to flee from the all-in.
Even
- Lee Sin — Lee Sin is a mobile bruiser jungler who can match Kha'Zix's early game aggression with his own strong dueling and mobility. Lee Sin's Safeguard dash and Dragon's Rage kick give him tools to disengage or reposition when Kha'Zix leaps in, and his Tempest reveal negates Kha'Zix's stealth from Void Assault. The matchup is skill-dependent — Kha'Zix wins when he catches Lee Sin isolated at a camp and bursts him before Lee Sin can ward-hop away, while Lee Sin wins when he Sonic Waves Kha'Zix first and combos him before Leap is available. Both junglers have strong early invade pressure and the 1v1 outcome depends on who initiates with better positioning.
- Viego — Viego is a skirmishing jungler whose passive Sovereign's Domination lets him possess enemy champions on takedown, resetting his abilities. Kha'Zix and Viego both thrive in extended skirmishes and both snowball off early kills. Kha'Zix's isolation damage gives him the advantage in 1v1 jungle duels, but Viego's auto-attack sustained damage and Blade of the Ruined King passive can outtrade Kha'Zix in extended fights where isolation is not maintained. In teamfights, both champions look for resets — Kha'Zix through Leap and Viego through possession — and the outcome depends on who secures the first kill.
- Graves — Graves is a ranged bruiser jungler who builds lethality or crit and has natural tankiness from True Grit armor stacking. Graves's auto-attack range means Kha'Zix must commit fully with Leap to reach him, and Graves's Quickdraw dash and Smokescreen can disrupt Kha'Zix's combo. However, Kha'Zix's burst damage with isolation exceeds Graves's damage in a 1v1 at camps, and Leap allows Kha'Zix to bypass Smokescreen and reach Graves directly. The matchup hinges on whether Kha'Zix can land his full burst before Graves's sustained damage and tankiness outlast him.
Unfavorable
- Rammus — Rammus is a tank jungler who hard-counters all physical damage assassins through his Spiked Shell passive, which reflects damage back to auto-attackers, and Defensive Ball Curl, which grants massive armor and reflects even more damage. Kha'Zix's entire kit deals physical damage, meaning Rammus's armor reduces his burst to negligible levels while Spiked Shell damages Kha'Zix for attacking. Rammus's Frenzying Taunt forces Kha'Zix to auto-attack into the damage reflection, and Powerball's movement speed lets Rammus engage on Kha'Zix from across the map. Kha'Zix cannot assassinate Rammus and cannot escape Rammus's engage, making this matchup deeply unfavorable at all stages.
- Elise — Elise is an early-game aggressive jungler whose Cocoon stun and burst damage can kill Kha'Zix before he completes his assassination combo. Elise's Cocoon is a point-and-click stun that interrupts Kha'Zix's engage, and her Rappel untargetability dodges Taste Their Fear entirely. In early jungle invades, Elise's spider form burst with Venomous Bite execute damage matches or exceeds Kha'Zix's isolation damage, and Cocoon prevents Kha'Zix from retaliating during the crucial first seconds of the fight. Elise also controls objectives earlier than Kha'Zix due to her strong level 3 ganks.
- Warwick — Warwick is a bruiser jungler with incredible sustain and dueling power that counters Kha'Zix's assassination pattern. Warwick's Eternal Hunger passive heals him on every auto-attack, meaning he outheals Kha'Zix's burst damage in extended fights. Infinite Duress suppresses Kha'Zix, preventing him from using Leap or Void Assault to escape. Warwick's Blood Hunt senses low-health enemies, meaning Kha'Zix cannot retreat to heal after a failed assassination — Warwick will chase him down with bonus movement speed and attack speed. Warwick's raw dueling stats simply overpower Kha'Zix in the 1v1 because Warwick sustains through the burst and kills Kha'Zix in the extended fight.
