Best Rek'Sai Build & Guide (2026) — League of Legends

The definitive Rek'Sai build guide for 2026. Optimal items, runes, ability order, playstyle tips, and matchup advice backed by data from thousands of ranked League of Legends matches.

Rek'Sai is League of Legends' Void Burrower — an aggressive early-game jungle fighter who tunnels beneath the earth to create a network of underground passages, detects enemy movement with Tremor Sense while burrowed, knocks enemies airborne with Unburrow, shreds them with Queen's Wrath auto-attack resets, executes with max-Fury Furious Bite for true damage, and hunts marked targets across the map with Void Rush. Rek'Sai is played primarily in jungle (52.67% win rate on OP.GG Patch 26.6 Emerald+, 53.43% on LoLalytics, Tier 2 / S Tier) with a 2.15% pick rate and 1.67% ban rate. Whether you are an aggressive jungler who wants to dominate the early game with powerful ganks and skirmishes, a map-control specialist who uses a tunnel network to rotate faster than any other champion, or a diver who hunts priority targets with Void Rush's max-HP damage, this guide covers everything you need to dominate with Rek'Sai in 2026.

Rek'Sai Overview

Rek'Sai operates as an early-game bruiser jungler whose power comes from her unmatched combination of Tremor Sense vision, tunnel-based map mobility, knockup crowd control, and true damage execution — using Burrow to approach enemies unseen, Unburrow to knock them airborne, Queen's Wrath for rapid auto-attack resets, and Furious Bite at max Fury to deal devastating true damage. She is played almost exclusively in jungle (2.15% pick rate, 52.67% win rate on OP.GG Emerald+, 53.43% on LoLalytics) with her ban rate at 1.67%.

Unlike other bruiser junglers like Lee Sin or Jarvan IV who rely on skillshot-based engage, Rek'Sai's Unburrow knockup is a reliable point-blank area-of-effect displacement that cannot be blocked by minions or wind walls — when Rek'Sai burrows beneath you and erupts from the ground, you are knocked airborne with no counterplay other than preemptive crowd control or dashing away before she surfaces.

Fury of the Xer'Sai (Passive) generates 25 Fury on basic attacks and ability hits against champions, and 4 Fury on minion hits. When Rek'Sai burrows, she consumes her Fury over 3 seconds to heal for 0–100% (based on Fury) of 9%–21.29% (based on level) of her maximum health. This built-in sustain means Rek'Sai maintains healthy jungle clears by burrowing between camps to consume Fury for healing, and also provides mid-fight sustain when she briefly burrows to regenerate before re-engaging.

Queen's Wrath (Q, Unburrowed) empowers Rek'Sai's next 3 basic attacks with bonus physical damage equal to 30/35/40/45/50% AD per hit and grants 35% bonus attack speed for 3 seconds. Each empowered attack resets the basic attack timer with an uncancellable windup. Queen's Wrath has a cooldown of 4/3.5/3/2.5/2 seconds and costs no resources. Prey Seeker (Q, Burrowed) launches a void projectile that deals 50/80/110/140/170 (+25% bonus AD)(+70% AP) magic damage and reveals enemies hit for 5 seconds, with a 1500-unit range and 10-second cooldown.

Burrow (W) causes Rek'Sai to dig underground, gaining 5/10/15/20/25 bonus movement speed and Tremor Sense — the ability to detect nearby enemy movement as vibration circles on the ground, even through fog of war and while she has no vision. Burrowing reduces Rek'Sai's vision range to 385 units but replaces her basic attack with Unburrow, which deals 30/55/80/105/130 (+80% AP) magic damage and knocks up enemies for 1 second. Each enemy can only be knocked up once every 10/9/8/7/6 seconds (scales with W rank).

Furious Bite (E, Unburrowed) bites a target enemy for 80/108/136/164/192 (+64% bonus AD) physical damage. At maximum Fury, the damage is increased to 100/135/170/205/240 (+80% bonus AD) and is converted to true damage. Furious Bite has a 6-second cooldown and 225 range. Tunnel (E, Burrowed) dashes forward and leaves two connected tunnel entrances that last 10 minutes. Rek'Sai can re-enter tunnels to travel between them with a per-tunnel cooldown of 6/5/4/3/2 seconds. Up to 8 tunnels can be active simultaneously. Tunnel has an 18/17/16/15/14-second cooldown and 850 range.

Void Rush (R) passively marks enemy champions hit by Rek'Sai's damage as Prey for 5 seconds. On activation, Rek'Sai selects a marked target, becomes untargetable and displacement-immune for 0.9 seconds, then blinks near the target and lunges through them, dealing 150/250/350 (+100% bonus AD)(+15/20/25% target's maximum health) physical damage. Void Rush has a cooldown of 120/100/80 seconds and 1500 range.

Strengths

  • Rek'Sai is one of the strongest early-game duelists in the jungle — Queen's Wrath's triple auto-attack reset with 35% bonus attack speed combined with max-Fury Furious Bite's true damage conversion means she wins almost every 1v1 against other junglers at levels 3-6 — The 6-second cooldown on Furious Bite after the Patch 25.15 mini-rework means Rek'Sai can often land two true-damage executions in extended fights, dealing massive sustained damage that ignores armor entirely
  • Tremor Sense provides unmatched information while burrowed — Rek'Sai can detect all enemy movement within range even through fog of war, allowing her to track the enemy jungler's position, detect incoming ganks, and find hidden enemies without any wards — No other champion in the game has a passive that reveals enemy positions without needing to place wards or use abilities, giving Rek'Sai and her team a permanent information advantage in the jungle
  • Rek'Sai's tunnel network creates a unique map presence — with up to 8 tunnels lasting 10 minutes each, Rek'Sai can build a web of underground passages across the map that allows her to rotate between lanes, objectives, and jungle camps faster than any other champion — Tunnels through walls near Dragon, Baron, and lane bushes allow Rek'Sai to appear from unexpected angles and collapse on fights faster than enemies can react
  • Void Rush makes Rek'Sai a reliable assassin-diver in the mid-game — the 0.9 seconds of untargetability combined with 15/20/25% maximum health damage means Rek'Sai can mark a priority target with any ability, then chase them down with an unavoidable, high-damage dash from 1500 range — Unlike other gap closers, Void Rush cannot be interrupted, blocked, or dodged once cast, making it one of the most reliable ways to reach and kill a backline carry

Weaknesses

  • Rek'Sai falls off significantly in the late game — her base damage ratios and bruiser itemization cannot keep pace with hyperscaling carries, and her dive-heavy playstyle becomes increasingly risky as enemies complete defensive items and group together, making it harder for Rek'Sai to isolate targets without being collapsed upon — Games that go past 30 minutes put Rek'Sai at a disadvantage because her early-game lead becomes less relevant as teamfight coordination matters more than individual dueling power
  • Rek'Sai has no ranged crowd control or reliable engage from distance — Unburrow requires Rek'Sai to be directly on top of her target to knock them up, and tunnels are visible to enemies who can destroy them by standing on the entrance for 1.5 seconds — Against teams with strong disengage like Janna, Lulu, or Gragas, Rek'Sai struggles to reach priority targets because she must physically burrow up to them with no long-range lockdown
  • Burrowing reduces Rek'Sai's vision range to 385 units, making her vulnerable to ambushes while tunneling — if enemies are standing still, Tremor Sense does not detect them, and the reduced vision means Rek'Sai can walk into traps she would otherwise see — Skilled opponents can counter Rek'Sai's Tremor Sense by standing still in bushes or using stop-move to avoid creating vibration circles
  • Rek'Sai is heavily reliant on Fury management for optimal damage — Furious Bite only converts to true damage at maximum Fury, and poor Fury management (biting too early or accidentally burrowing and consuming Fury for healing) drastically reduces her kill pressure — Misusing the passive heal by burrowing at the wrong time can waste the Fury needed for a true-damage Furious Bite, turning a potential kill into an escape

Recommended Runes

Jungle — Conqueror (Precision)

The recommended rune page for Rek'Sai jungle is Conqueror, the dominant keystone with approximately 89.1% pick rate and 52.7% win rate on OP.GG. Conqueror provides sustained damage and omnivamp that synergize with Rek'Sai's extended trading pattern.

  • Conqueror — Stacks adaptive force on each instance of damage dealt to champions, granting bonus AD and omnivamp at 12 stacks. Conqueror is the optimal keystone for Rek'Sai because her combo of Unburrow, Queen's Wrath auto-resets, and basic attacks stacks Conqueror extremely fast — Unburrow knockup plus three Queen's Wrath empowered attacks generates 8 stacks almost instantly, and the remaining 4 stacks come from Furious Bite and continued auto-attacks. At full stacks, the bonus AD amplifies Furious Bite's execution damage while the omnivamp provides sustain during extended jungle skirmishes.
  • Triumph — Restores health and grants bonus gold on champion takedowns. Triumph keeps Rek'Sai alive during multi-kill skirmishes and tower dives where she engages at low health. The healing on takedowns synergizes with Rek'Sai's dive playstyle — she often burrows into fights at the cost of taking significant damage, and Triumph restores enough health to survive the aftermath.
  • Legend: Alacrity — Grants bonus attack speed from champion takedowns. Legend: Alacrity directly increases Rek'Sai's DPS during Queen's Wrath and her jungle clear speed. More attack speed means faster Fury generation from auto-attacks, which means more frequent max-Fury Furious Bite true damage executions.
  • Coup de Grace — Deals 8% increased damage to targets below 40% health. Coup de Grace synergizes perfectly with Rek'Sai's execute-heavy playstyle — she trades with Queen's Wrath and basic attacks to bring enemies below 40% health, then finishes them with a Coup de Grace-amplified Furious Bite that deals true damage at max Fury.

Secondary — Inspiration

  • Magical Footwear — Grants free boots at 12 minutes with +10 bonus movement speed. Magical Footwear saves Rek'Sai 300 gold on her boot purchase, accelerating her core item power spikes. The +10 bonus movement speed also stacks with Burrow's movement speed bonus, making Rek'Sai's burrowed roaming even faster after 12 minutes.
  • Cosmic Insight — Grants +18 Summoner Spell Haste and +10 Item Haste. Cosmic Insight reduces Flash and Smite cooldowns, giving Rek'Sai more frequent access to Flash-Unburrow knockups and ensuring Smite is available for contested objective fights. The Item Haste also reduces Stridebreaker's active cooldown for more frequent slows.

Stat Shards

  • Attack Speed — Faster auto-attacks improve jungle clear speed and increase Fury generation rate. Attack speed is the standard first shard for all junglers because it significantly speeds up camp clear times and helps Rek'Sai reach max Fury faster for true damage Furious Bites.
  • Adaptive Force — Bonus AD scaling increases damage on Queen's Wrath empowered attacks and Furious Bite. With 99.1% pick rate, Adaptive Force is the universal choice because Rek'Sai's entire damage kit scales with AD.
  • Health Scaling — Bonus health scaling provides durability for mid and late-game dives. Health complements Rek'Sai's bruiser build by increasing her effective HP alongside the resistances from Sterak's Gage and Death's Dance.

Recommended Item Build

Based on data from ranked Rek'Sai matches tracked across multiple stat sites on Patch 26.6, here are the highest winrate build paths.

Jungle Build

#### Early Game (0-10 min)

  • Scorchclaw Pup — The jungle starting item that grants a damage-over-time burn on abilities and basic attacks. Scorchclaw Pup is the optimal jungle pet for Rek'Sai with 42.92% pick rate and 52.66% win rate because the burn damage adds to her already high early-game dueling power, helping her win 1v1 fights against the enemy jungler and adding damage to ganks that improves kill conversion. The red smite effect also provides damage reduction against the target, making Rek'Sai even harder to beat in skirmishes.
  • Health Potion — A Health Potion provides sustain through Rek'Sai's first jungle clear. Although Rek'Sai's passive heals her when burrowing, the potion supplements this sustain and ensures she can gank after her initial clear at high health.

#### Core Build (10-20 min)

  • Stridebreaker — Grants attack damage, health, attack speed, and ability haste with an active that dashes and slows nearby enemies. Stridebreaker is Rek'Sai's most popular first item with 65.66% pick rate and 52.86% win rate because the active slow solves her biggest problem — sticking to targets after the Unburrow knockup wears off. The dash also provides a second gap closer on top of tunnels and Void Rush, making Rek'Sai extremely difficult to escape once she engages.
  • Plated Steelcaps — Grants armor and reduces incoming basic attack damage. Plated Steelcaps are the standard boot choice for Rek'Sai with 55.87% pick rate and 52.43% win rate because the armor and auto-attack damage reduction improve her survivability when diving into enemy teams. Mercury's Treads (41.35% pick rate, 54.52% win rate) are the alternative against heavy CC or AP-heavy compositions.
  • Spear of Shojin — Grants attack damage, health, and ability haste with a passive that grants bonus damage and additional haste when hitting champions. Spear of Shojin is Rek'Sai's near-universal second item with 67.51% pick rate and 54.65% win rate because the ability haste reduces Queen's Wrath and Furious Bite cooldowns, letting Rek'Sai cycle through her damage rotation faster. The bonus damage on champion hits amplifies her already high burst combo, and the health provides survivability for diving.

#### Late Game (25+ min)

  • Sterak's Gage — Grants attack damage scaling with base AD, health, and a shield that activates when taking burst damage. Sterak's Gage has a 27.99% pick rate and 58.45% win rate because the Lifeline shield prevents Rek'Sai from being burst down during dives. When Rek'Sai tunnels into the enemy backline with Void Rush, the shield absorbs the initial burst of damage, giving her time to land her full combo and secure the kill before the enemy team can focus her down.
  • Death's Dance — Grants attack damage, ability haste, and armor with a passive that converts incoming damage to a bleed effect and heals on champion takedowns. Death's Dance has a 22.54% pick rate and 59.17% win rate because the bleed passive delays burst damage, giving Rek'Sai more time to deal damage and potentially heal back through Triumph and the Death's Dance takedown passive. Against AD-heavy teams, the combination of armor and the bleed effect makes Rek'Sai extremely durable.
  • Guardian Angel — Grants attack damage, armor, and a revive passive. Guardian Angel has a 7.75% pick rate but a massive 64.70% win rate because the revive passive provides insurance for Rek'Sai's high-risk dive playstyle. When Rek'Sai Void Rushes into the enemy backline and gets killed after securing a priority target, the revive allows her to come back and continue fighting or escape, turning a trade kill into a winning exchange for her team.

Ability Priority

Jungle: Q > E > W (R at 6, 11, 16)

  1. Queen's Wrath / Prey Seeker (Q) — Max first. Levels at 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. Each rank increases the bonus AD ratio per empowered attack from 30% to 50%, and reduces cooldown from 4 to 2 seconds. Maxing Q first is the highest win rate priority (78.53% pick rate, 61.68% win rate on OP.GG) because reducing Queen's Wrath's cooldown from 4 to 2 seconds nearly doubles Rek'Sai's sustained DPS in extended fights and jungle clears. The increased AD ratio per hit also scales multiplicatively with each auto-reset — three empowered attacks at 50% AD deals 150% total AD in bonus damage across the full rotation.
  2. Void Rush (R) — Level at 6, 11, and 16. Each rank increases base damage from 150 to 350, the max-HP ratio from 15% to 25%, and reduces cooldown from 120 to 80 seconds. Level 6 is Rek'Sai's biggest power spike because Void Rush gives her a 1500-range gap closer that deals 15% of the target's maximum health in physical damage, making her ganks and skirmishes dramatically more lethal.
  3. Furious Bite / Tunnel (E) — Max second. Levels at 2, 4, 8, 10, 12. Each rank increases normal damage from 80 to 192, max-Fury true damage from 100 to 240, and reduces Tunnel's per-entrance cooldown from 6 to 2 seconds. E max second is essential because the increasing true damage from max-Fury Furious Bite is Rek'Sai's primary source of kill pressure — going from 100 (+80% bonus AD) true damage at rank 1 to 240 (+80% bonus AD) true damage at rank 5 is a massive increase in execution potential. The reduced Tunnel cooldown also improves map rotation speed.
  4. Burrow / Unburrow (W) — Max last. Levels at 14, 15, 17, 18. Each rank increases Unburrow damage from 30 to 130, bonus movement speed from 5 to 25, and reduces the per-target knockup immunity from 10 to 6 seconds. W is maxed last because rank 1 already provides the 1-second knockup that is the primary value of the ability, and the bonus movement speed and Unburrow damage increases are less impactful than Q and E upgrades. The reduced knockup immunity timer at max rank is a nice late-game bonus for extended teamfights.

Summoner Spells

  • Flash — Flash is the standard summoner spell for Rek'Sai with 99.91% pick rate and 52.74% win rate on OP.GG. Flash-Unburrow allows Rek'Sai to instantly Flash on top of a priority target and knock them airborne without needing to burrow up to them, catching enemies who are positioned safely behind their frontline. Flash also extends Rek'Sai's kill range when combined with Void Rush — Flash into melee range to mark a target with an auto-attack, then Void Rush them as they attempt to escape.
  • Smite — Smite is required for all junglers to purchase jungle items and secure epic monsters. Rek'Sai uses Smite to finish Dragon, Baron, and Rift Herald during objective contests.

Playstyle Tips

Early Game / Laning Phase (0-14 min)

Rek'Sai's early game is about clearing efficiently while burrowing between camps to heal with Fury, then leveraging her powerful ganks with Unburrow knockup into Queen's Wrath into max-Fury Furious Bite true damage to snowball lanes before the enemy jungler can match her pressure.

Start Queen's Wrath (Q) at level 1 for fast jungle clearing — the three empowered auto-attacks with 35% bonus attack speed tear through camps quickly. Your optimal first clear route is Red Brambleback → Krugs → Raptors → Wolves → Blue Sentinel → Gromp → Rift Scuttler (58.8% win rate). Burrow between every camp to consume Fury for healing — this keeps you at high health throughout your clear without needing to back.

Your standard gank combo is: Burrow in fog of war → approach through a tunnel or from a brush → Unburrow to knock up the target for 1 second → immediately Queen's Wrath for three empowered auto-attacks → Furious Bite at max Fury for true damage. This combo deals enormous damage in the 1-second knockup window because Queen's Wrath resets your auto-attack timer, allowing you to fit 3-4 attacks before the target can react. Always wait until you have maximum Fury before using Furious Bite — the difference between physical and true damage is the difference between the target living and dying.

Place tunnels in strategic locations as you move around the map — near Dragon pit, through walls beside mid lane, and in the river. These tunnels serve as future gank paths that bypass common ward spots, and also provide escape routes if you get caught invading. Each tunnel lasts 10 minutes, so tunnels placed during your first clear will still be available for mid-game objectives.

Mid Game & Teamfighting (14-25 min)

Mid-game Rek'Sai with Stridebreaker and Spear of Shojin is a roaming assassin-diver who uses her tunnel network for rapid map rotations, marks priority targets with damage to enable Void Rush assassinations, and uses Stridebreaker's active slow to stick to targets after Unburrow knockup.

Rek'Sai's mid-game revolves around picks and objective control. Your tunnel network should now span key areas of the map — use tunnels to rotate between lanes faster than the enemy jungler can respond, creating number advantages for skirmishes and tower dives. When approaching a fight, always use tunnels or fog of war to get close before unburrowing — Tremor Sense lets you detect exactly where enemies are standing, so you can position your Unburrow for maximum impact.

In skirmishes, your priority is to reach and kill the enemy carry. The full assassination combo is: approach burrowed → Unburrow knockup on the carry → Queen's Wrath auto-resets → Stridebreaker active for the slow → Furious Bite at max Fury for true damage → if they Flash or dash away, Void Rush to follow them for 15-25% max HP damage. This combo is nearly impossible to survive because Void Rush tracks the target even through Flash, and the combination of physical damage, true damage, and percentage max HP damage shreds both squishy and tanky targets.

Void Rush deals 15/20/25% of the target's maximum health — use it on high-priority targets regardless of their health bar. The max HP ratio means it deals significant damage even to full-health tanks, but it is most effective as a finishing blow on carries who have taken some damage from your initial combo.

Late Game (25+ min)

Late-game Rek'Sai is a teamfight diver whose role shifts from assassination to disruption — using Unburrow knockup on grouped enemies, Void Rush to reach backline carries through frontlines, and Sterak's Gage shield plus Death's Dance bleed to survive long enough for her team to follow up.

In the late game, Rek'Sai's damage breakdown is approximately 61% physical, 13% magic, and 26% true damage. The true damage from max-Fury Furious Bite is a significant portion of her output and remains relevant at all stages of the game because it ignores armor entirely. Even against tanks with 300+ armor, a max-Fury Furious Bite at rank 5 deals 240 (+80% bonus AD) true damage — a meaningful chunk that cannot be mitigated.

In teamfights, look for flanks using your tunnel network. Approach burrowed from fog of war, use Tremor Sense to identify the enemy carry's position, then Unburrow for the knockup. If you cannot reach the carry directly, use Void Rush to bypass the frontline entirely — mark any enemy with damage, then ult the carry from up to 1500 range. Sterak's Gage shield activates when you take burst damage during the dive, and Death's Dance converts 30% of incoming damage to a bleed, giving you several extra seconds to land your combo and secure the kill.

Late-game objective fights around Baron and Dragon are where Rek'Sai's tunnel network provides the most value. Place tunnels on both sides of the pit and through nearby walls — these tunnels let you engage from unexpected angles, escape after stealing objectives with Smite, or collapse on enemies who attempt to contest.

Matchups

Jungle

#### Favorable

  • Shyvana — Rek'Sai wins approximately 56.04% against Shyvana jungle. Shyvana is a farm-heavy jungler who wants to reach level 6 and complete her first item before fighting — Rek'Sai punishes this passive playstyle by invading Shyvana's jungle early and forcing fights that Shyvana cannot win pre-6. Rek'Sai's Tremor Sense detects Shyvana's jungle pathing, allowing her to track and intercept Shyvana at her camps. Even after level 6, Rek'Sai's Unburrow knockup interrupts Shyvana's engages, and Furious Bite's true damage cuts through Shyvana's dragon form health.
  • Kha'Zix — Rek'Sai wins approximately 56.28% against Kha'Zix jungle. Kha'Zix's isolation damage bonus requires him to catch targets alone, but Rek'Sai's Unburrow knockup and Queen's Wrath combo outdamages Kha'Zix in 1v1 fights because her true damage from Furious Bite ignores Kha'Zix's armor. Rek'Sai also detects Kha'Zix's movements with Tremor Sense even when he uses Void Assault stealth, removing his primary escape and engage tool's effectiveness.
  • Master Yi — Rek'Sai wins approximately 57.84% against Master Yi jungle. Master Yi is an auto-attack-reliant melee carry who must stand and fight — Rek'Sai's Unburrow knockup interrupts Master Yi's Meditate healing channel, and her early-game damage overwhelms Yi before he completes his scaling items. Furious Bite's true damage is particularly effective because Master Yi's Meditate damage reduction does not apply to true damage.

#### Even

  • Viego — Rek'Sai wins approximately 52.87% against Viego jungle. Viego's Sovereign's Domination passive makes him dangerous in teamfights, but in 1v1 jungle skirmishes, Rek'Sai's superior early-game damage and Unburrow knockup give her the edge. The matchup is skill-dependent — Viego's Blade of the Ruined King passive and Harrowed Path camouflage create opportunities for outplays, and his ability to possess fallen champions can turn a lost fight into a win.
  • Graves — Rek'Sai wins approximately 52.46% against Graves jungle. Graves is a ranged jungler with strong burst damage and Quickdraw armor stacking, making him harder to kill than most junglers. Rek'Sai's Unburrow knockup gets her into melee range where Graves's damage falls off, but Graves's Smoke Screen (W) reduces Rek'Sai's vision and can disrupt her combo timing. The matchup favors Rek'Sai in early skirmishes but tilts toward Graves as he scales with items.
  • Jarvan IV — Rek'Sai wins approximately 52.30% against Jarvan IV jungle. Both champions have strong early ganks — Jarvan's EQ knockup versus Rek'Sai's Unburrow. The matchup often comes down to whose laners respond faster to jungle skirmishes. Rek'Sai's tunnels can escape Jarvan's Cataclysm ultimate by dashing through terrain, giving her a unique counterplay that other junglers lack.

#### Unfavorable

  • Nocturne — Rek'Sai wins only approximately 45.6% against Nocturne jungle. Nocturne's Shroud of Darkness spell shield blocks Rek'Sai's Unburrow knockup, removing her primary engage tool. Nocturne also wins extended 1v1 fights because Lethal Tempo and Shroud of Darkness attack speed bonus let him outdamage Rek'Sai in sustained trades. Nocturne's Paranoia ultimate matches Rek'Sai's map presence with superior range and the ability to reduce all enemy vision simultaneously.
  • Zac — Rek'Sai wins only approximately 47.10% against Zac jungle. Zac's Elastic Slingshot engage range exceeds anything Rek'Sai can match with tunnels, and his Let's Bounce ultimate provides massive disruption in teamfights that Rek'Sai cannot counter. Zac's Cell Division passive means he is extremely difficult to kill in 1v1 fights — even if Rek'Sai lands a perfect combo, Zac's bloblets can revive him. Zac also outscales Rek'Sai significantly as a teamfight tank.
  • Fiddlesticks — Rek'Sai wins only approximately 47.40% against Fiddlesticks jungle. Fiddlesticks' Crowstorm ultimate deals massive AoE damage that destroys Rek'Sai when she dives into teamfights, and Terrify's fear interrupts Rek'Sai's combo. Fiddlesticks' drain healing sustains him through Rek'Sai's burst, and his effigies provide ward coverage that prevents Rek'Sai from approaching through fog of war undetected.

Recent Patch Changes

Patch 25.15 — Rek'Sai Mini-Rework

Rek'Sai received a significant mini-rework in Patch 25.15 that reshaped her identity. Base armor was reduced from 36 to 35 and armor growth from 4.95 to 4.5. Unburrow's per-target knockup immunity was changed from a flat 10 seconds at all ranks to 10/9/8/7/6 seconds scaling with rank. Furious Bite's cooldown was massively reduced from 10 seconds to 6 seconds, and max-Fury damage was converted back to true damage — the signature mechanic that defines Rek'Sai's identity as a Fury-based fighter. Void Rush's base damage was adjusted from 150/300/450 to 150/250/350, and the health ratio changed from 25/30/35% missing health to 15/20/25% maximum health, shifting it from an execute to a flat percentage-based nuke. These changes pushed Rek'Sai toward sustained fighter combat with frequent true-damage bites rather than one-shot burst with Void Rush.

Patches 25.16–25.17 — Follow-Up Adjustments

Patch 25.16 increased Rek'Sai's base AD from 58 to 62 and fixed a Queen's Wrath bug where the buff could expire during attack windup. Patch 25.17 fixed a Tunnel bug where casting unintentionally put Rek'Sai in combat. Patch 25.23 reduced minion fury generation from 5 to 4 and decreased the minimum passive heal from 10% to 9% at level 1.

Patches 26.1–26.6 (2026) — No Direct Changes

Rek'Sai has received no direct champion changes throughout the 2026 patch cycle aside from a Void Rush bug fix in Patch 26.05 that prevented the ability from failing when enemies Flashed into fog of war at the same time the cast completed. Her win rate has stabilized around 52-53% across all stat sites, reflecting a strong but not overpowered state after the mini-rework. No significant indirect item changes affect her core build in Patch 26.6.
